About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Full Stack Next.js Engineer to join our team immediately. In this role, you will be responsible for building scalable, high-performance web applications, handling both interactive frontend interfaces and robust backend APIs. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience across the entire development lifecycle, from designing database schemas in PostgreSQL to containerizing applications with Docker for seamless deployment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain full-stack web applications utilizing Next.js (App Router, Server Actions, SSR/SSG) and React.
  • Build, integrate, and maintain secure RESTful APIs and microservices.
  • Architect and manage relational databases, writing efficient and scalable queries using PostgreSQL.
  • Containerize application components and manage environment consistency using Docker.
  • Collaborate with project managers, QA engineers, and designers to deliver high-quality, tested software on schedule.
  • Optimize application performance, ensuring fast load times and scalability under load.
  • Maintain clean, well-documented code and actively participate in code reviews.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 1+ years of proven industry experience in full-stack web development.
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript.
  • Deep understanding of Next.js and its core rendering strategies (Server-Side Rendering, Static Site Generation).
  • Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL (experience with ORMs like Prisma or TypeORM is highly preferred).
  • Practical knowledge of Docker, including writing Dockerfiles and managing multi-container setups with Docker Compose.
  • Strong proficiency with Git and modern version control workflows (GitHub/GitLab).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in an agile, fast-paced environment.

Nice to Have (Bonus Skills)

  • Familiarity with modern styling solutions like Tailwind CSS.
  • Basic understanding of cloud infrastructure (AWS).
  • Experience with automated testing tools (Jest, Cypress, or Playwright).
  • Knowledge of setting up basic CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions).
  • Comfort navigating Linux command-line environments.
