Project Manager – Managed Services and IT Infrastructure

BISTEC Global Services    Remote • Full-time

Job Description

Join our family leading managed services engagements for a leading Global Client — service desk, infrastructure operations, and security services — from tender and transition through go-live and steady-state delivery.

What You'll Do

  • Lead managed services engagements from tender and requirements through transition, go-live, and steady-state operations.
  • Manage service take-ons and transitions across service desk, server platform, network, and security services end-to-end.
  • Manage BAU projects and service improvements within engagements already onboarded, keeping delivery, SLAs, and client satisfaction on track.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams and third-party vendors for on-time, in-scope, in-budget delivery.
  • Develop detailed transition plans, schedules, and budget estimates for managed services and infrastructure rollouts.
  • Manage risks, issues, and change requests across scope, schedule, and cost.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with client stakeholders, service partners, and vendors.
  • Run governance forums and service reviews — reporting status, SLA/KPI performance, and risks, escalating as needed.
  • Ensure resource availability and allocation across concurrent managed services engagements.
  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation and governance reporting.
  • Coordinate dependencies with adjacent software and automation workstreams, and drive continuous service improvement into steady-state.

What You'll Bring

  • 5+ years of project management experience, ideally covering managed services, service desk, or infrastructure engagements.
  • Proven experience managing engagements from tender or requirements through transition, go-live, and early-life support.
  • Strong skills in project planning, budgeting, and resource management.
  • Experience across Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies.
  • Proficiency with Jira, Azure DevOps, and Microsoft Project.
  • Skilled in risk and change management across scope, schedule, and cost, with working knowledge of ITIL practices — service transition, change, and incident/problem management.
  • Strong stakeholder and vendor management skills, including CSPs and MSPs.
  • Excellent communication, reporting, and client relationship-management skills.

Bonus Points

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, IT, or a related field.
  • PMP certification is preferred.
  • PRINCE2 certification is preferred.
  • Experience across Telco, BFSI, or large enterprise environments is a plus.
  • ITIL certification is an added advantage.
  • Experience delivering for clients in European and Australian markets is an added advantage.
