Associate Software Engineer - PropTech

Cloudimite is a growing technology startup working across cloud, DevOps, software development, and automation. We’re looking for an Associate Software Engineer to join our PropTech project, building a platform for real estate and land-record data.

Position

  • Full-time Contract | Fully Remote
  • Minimum 6 months
  • 8 hours/day, Monday–Friday
  • Currently pursuing an degree or above
  • Potential for long-term engagement based on performance

What You’ll Work On

  • Analyze web portals and APIs using Chrome DevTools and network inspection.
  • Build API clients and backend services using Python or Node.js/TypeScript.
  • Work with HTTP, sessions, cookies, authentication, and asynchronous processing.
  • Process property records, PDFs, and other official documents.
  • Build data extraction pipelines using OCR and AI/LLMs.
  • Work with PostgreSQL, Redis, Docker, AWS, and related technologies.

Requirements

  • Good programming knowledge in Python or Node.js/TypeScript.
  • Understanding of HTTP, REST APIs, JSON, and web applications.
  • Familiarity with PostgreSQL and Git.
  • Strong debugging, problem-solving, and willingness to learn.
  • Comfortable investigating unfamiliar systems and working independently.

Bonus: Experience with FastAPI/Flask, web scraping, Redis/Celery/BullMQ, Docker, AWS, OCR, LLMs, or document processing.
