Lead AI/ML Engineer

• Strong Python skills – clean, maintainable, production-grade code.
• Hands-on with data pipelines (Airflow, Spark) and databases (MySQL,
• PostgreSQL, MariaDB), including pipeline and schema design.
• Strong DSA fundamentals; practical experience with ML frameworks (scikit-learn,
• TensorFlow/PyTorch) and model selection guidance.
• Solid MLOps understanding – lifecycle, CI/CD, deployment, monitoring.
• Git/version control workflow ownership for the team.
• Knowledge of On-Prem deployments and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure), especially ML-relevant services.
• Frontend/backend/mobile exposure for integration decisions; fraud/anomaly/risk-scoring knowledge is a plus.
• Design end-to-end AI/ML solution architectures (data, pipelines, training/serving, monitoring).
• Translate business requirements into architecture, tech stack choices, and trade-off analysis.
• Account for scalability, reliability, security, and cost.
• Make build-vs-buy-vs-integrate decisions for ML components/tools.
• Combine SE components (APIs, services, DBs) with ML components in solution design.
• Lead, mentor, and grow a team of AI/ML and SE engineers.
• Own planning, estimation, sprint/release management, and quality/coding standards.
• Review and ensure quality of team deliverables.
• Collaborate with Product, QA, DevOps, Design, and Business stakeholders.
• Act as technical SME in pre-sales discussions, scoping calls, and client meetings.
• Prepare technical proposals, solution architectures, and effort/cost estimates.
• Present solutions/POCs to clients and leadership.

Requirement & Experience

• 5+ years in AI/ML, data engineering, or SE with ML components.
• Prior lead/architect-level experience strongly preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field.
