Associate Operations Engineer

Job Description

At Omobio, we're looking for an Associate Operations Engineer who is passionate about maintaining reliable IT operations and supporting stable production environments.
 
If you enjoy working with Linux/Unix systems, troubleshooting applications and networks, monitoring production environments, and collaborating with technical and customer teams in a 24×7 shift-based support environment, we'd love to hear from you.

• Good knowledge of Linux/Unix administration, troubleshooting, services, logs, and basic shell commands.
• Basic knowledge of networking, TCP/IP, DNS, SSH, ports, routing, and connectivity troubleshooting.
• Ability to troubleshoot application and system issues
• Basic knowledge of Apache/Nginx , MySQL/MariaDB, will be an advantage.
• Knowledge of Nagios/Zabbix or other monitoring tools will be an advantage.
• Basic Bash/Shell scripting knowledge is preferred.
• Strong ownership, positive attitude, willingness to learn, and can-do mindset.

Requirement & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Systems & Networking, or an equivalent qualification.
• 1+ year of experience in IT Operations, Application Support, Technical Support, or System Administration.
• Experience in Telecom, NOC, Application/Production Support
• Familiarity with Jira/ServiceNow, incident management, SLA, and RCA processes.
• Good English communication, documentation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively as a team player and coordinate with technical and customer teams.
• Willingness to work in a 24×7 shift-based production support environment.
