IT Executive

Job Description

Akbar Brothers (Pvt) Ltd, one of Sri Lanka's leading exporters and diversified business conglomerates, is looking for a dynamic, energetic, and technically competent individual to join our IT team as an IT Executive.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide day-to-day IT support to end users for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
• Administer and maintain network infrastructure, firewalls, VPNs, and internet connectivity.
• Manage Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and user accounts.
• Monitor and maintain IT security, endpoint protection, backups, and system availability.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, and other IT equipment.
• Maintain IT documentation and support infrastructure projects and branch operations.

Candidate Profile:

• Degree or Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in IT infrastructure, network administration, and user support.
• Sound knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, TCP/IP networking, VPNs, and enterprise firewalls (Fortinet, Sophos, Cisco, or similar).
• Experience in troubleshooting end-user devices and implementing IT security best practices.
• Professional certifications such as CCNA, Fortinet, Microsoft, or CompTIA Network+ will be an added advantage.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and customer service skills with the ability to work independently.
