About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented Quality Assurance (QA) Intern to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality, functionality, and performance of websites and digital platforms before they are delivered to clients. You will work closely with developers, designers, and project managers to identify issues, improve user experience, and maintain the highest quality standards across all projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform manual testing for websites and web applications.
- Create, execute, and maintain detailed test cases and test scenarios.
- Test responsive websites across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.
- Conduct cross-browser testing (Chrome, Firefox, Edge, Safari).
- Identify, document, report, and track bugs until resolution.
- Test website functionality, forms, navigation, links, and user workflows.
- Verify compliance with UI/UX standards and usability best practices.
- Perform responsive design and mobile compatibility testing.
- Conduct basic website performance testing using tools such as Google PageSpeed Insights or Lighthouse.
- Verify websites against basic SEO best practices.
- Collaborate with developers and designers to resolve issues efficiently.
- Ensure every project meets Tecoora's quality standards before launch.
What We're Looking For
- Knowledge of manual testing principles and test case creation.
- Experience testing responsive websites across multiple devices.
- Familiarity with major web browsers and cross-browser testing.
- Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Strong understanding of bug reporting and defect tracking.
- Knowledge of UI/UX principles and usability testing.
- Understanding of responsive design and mobile compatibility testing.
- Basic understanding of SEO best practices for websites.
- Experience testing website performance using Google PageSpeed Insights or Lighthouse.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with *WordPress, Shopify, or other CMS platforms* will be an added advantage.
