Company Overview

Path Nirvana Foundation is a US-based non-profit organization dedicated to making Buddhist teachings freely accessible worldwide. We develop and maintain major digital Dhamma tools, educational software, and websites (including tipitaka.app, tipitaka.lk, pitaka.lk, and arutha.lk), alongside managing humanitarian donation initiatives, and publishing and distributing Dhamma books in Sri Lanka and Myanmar.

We are looking for a values-driven, highly organized Project Management Intern to join our team for a 3 to 6-month paid internship, with the potential to transition into a permanent full-time position upon successful completion.

Role Overview

  • Job Type: Internship (Paid)
  • Duration: 6 Months
  • Work Setup: Hybrid (based in Homagama, with flexible work-from-home options)
  • Stipend: Competitive Stipend (Negotiable based on skills/background)

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Donation Project Coordination: Assist in organizing, tracking, and coordinating ongoing donation and charity projects in Sri Lanka and Myanmar.
  • Software & Content Maintenance: Perform basic content updates, management, and publishing on our educational websites and software platforms (no advanced coding required, but technical comfort specially in using AI tools is necessary).
  • Book Distribution: Help manage the end-to-end logistics of publishing, printing, and distributing printed Dhamma books, as well as coordinating digital distribution.
  • Cross-Border Communication: Handle professional communications and documentation in English for projects in Sri Lanka and Myanmar.
  • Administrative Support: Help maintain clean documentation, organize timelines, and ensure project milestones are met with accuracy.

Required Qualifications & Traits

  • Educational Background: Undergraduates or recent graduates in IT, Business Management, Project Management, or a related field.
  • Technical Know-How: Basic understanding of IT concepts and comfort with managing website content, digital tools, and document systems.
  • Soft Skills & Values:
    • A kind, gentle, and empathetic personality with a strong interest in community service, volunteerism, and charity work.
    • High level of integrity, loyalty, and commitment to the organization's spiritual and humanitarian mission.
    • Exceptional attention to detail, strong administrative skills, and a highly organized approach to tasks.
    • Flexibility and willingness to handle a diverse range of administrative, logical, and digital responsibilities.
  • Language Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication in English. Professional fluency in Sinhala is highly advantageous.
