Data Engineer (Microsoft Fabric)

Requirements

  1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent practical experience.
  2. 4+ years of data engineering experience, including hands-on Microsoft Fabric experience or relevant Azure Synapse, Azure Data Factory, or Databricks experience with Fabric exposure.
  3. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Fabric, including OneLake, Lakehouse, Warehouse, Data Factory, and Direct Lake.
  4. Advanced SQL skills and proficiency in Python and PySpark.
  5. Experience with Delta Lake, medallion architecture, and dimensional data modeling.
  6. Knowledge of Power BI semantic models, DAX, and data security.
  7. Experience with Git, CI/CD, and data deployment workflows.
  8. Understanding of Azure security, governance, and Microsoft Purview.
  9. Experience in Fabric capacity management and cost optimization.
  10. Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  11. Microsoft Fabric certifications (DP-700 or DP-600) would be an advantage.
