Cloud Engineer (DevOps Focused)

UK based managed service provider | Work from home, Sri Lanka | UK hours

We are a UK based Managed Service Provider delivering Azure, Microsoft 365 and cybersecurity services to clients across the UK, Europe and South Asia. We are hiring an experienced Cloud Engineer in Sri Lanka to join our globally distributed engineering team on a fully remote basis.

The role

You will design, build and run secure Azure infrastructure for our clients, automate its deployment, and keep the documentation and change control behind it in good order. This is a hands on role with direct exposure to senior management, so you will be expected to explain your work clearly and take ownership of delivery end to end.

What we are looking for

  • 4+ years of experience as a Cloud Engineer
  • Strong core infrastructure background: networking, servers and storage
  • Above average, hands on Azure experience across compute, networking, identity and governance
  • DevOps is essential: CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code. Bicep is a strong advantage
  • Security focused, with proven experience deploying and hardening environments independently
  • Confident with documentation, change control and producing clear architecture and network diagrams
  • Excellent written and spoken English, comfortable working directly with management
  • Experience working with globally dispersed teams

Working hours

Fully remote from Sri Lanka, working UK business hours. Your working window will fall between 13:00 and 22:30 Sri Lanka time, with a slight shift when UK daylight saving changes.
