Associate UI/UX Engineer

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, and Developers to develop innovative solutions for product direction, visuals, and user experience
  • Execute all stages of visual design from initial concept through to final hand-off to engineering teams
  • Create wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and e-flyers to effectively communicate design and interaction concepts
  • Conduct user research and evaluate user feedback to continuously enhance the overall user experience
  • Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices, and standards across digital products
  • Work closely with development teams to ensure designs are effectively translated into functional digital experiences

Requirements

  • Minimum 1+ year of experience as a UI/UX Designer or in a similar role
  • Bachelor's Degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or a related field
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating a variety of UI/UX and digital design projects
  • Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or equivalent platforms
  • Sound understanding of user-centred design principles
  • Experience working within an Agile/Scrum development environment
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills Familiarity with front-end development technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript will be an added advantage
