.NET Core Software Engineer

Job Description

We're seeking a .NET Core Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications and APIs using Microsoft technologies, collaborating with cross-functional teams following best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain applications and RESTful APIs/microservices using ASP.NET Core, ASP.NET MVC, and .NET 6/7/8
• Write clean, efficient code, participate in code reviews, and troubleshoot/optimize application performance
• Work with SQL Server and Entity Framework Core for database development
• Collaborate with designers, QA, and stakeholders in an Agile/Scrum environment (sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives)
• Maintain technical documentation

Required Skills

• 2-5 years of .NET Core/.NET development experience with strong C# and ASP.NET Core knowledge
• Experience with REST APIs, Entity Framework Core, and SQL Server
• Solid understanding of dependency injection, LINQ, async programming, and design patterns
• Familiarity with Git, Azure DevOps/GitHub, and basic Azure knowledge
• Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript (Angular/React a plus)

Preferred Qualifications

• IIS, Docker, Kubernetes, and microservices architecture experience
• CI/CD pipeline exposure and unit testing (xUnit/NUnit)

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
