Software Engineering Intern

About the Role

We're looking for a motivated and self-driven Software Engineering Intern who is passionate about building real-world software and taking ownership of their work. You'll develop backend services and modern web applications, collaborate with engineers, product managers, and customers, and use AI-assisted development tools responsibly while understanding the underlying technology.  

What You'll Do

  • Build and maintain backend APIs and web applications.
  • Work with Product Managers and customers to deliver effective solutions.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.
  • Participate in code reviews and technical discussions.
  • Learn and adopt new technologies as the platform evolves.

What We're Looking For

  • Strong problem-solving and independent working ability.
  • JavaScript/TypeScript experience.
  • Familiarity with NestJS, React, Next.js, and PostgreSQL.
  • Comfortable using AI development tools (e.g., ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot, Cursor).
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Willingness to learn Rust.

Nice to Have

  • REST API development.
  • Familiarity with ORMs (Prisma or TypeORM)
  • Git and collaborative workflows.
  • Personal projects, hackathons, or open-source contributions.
  • Docker and cloud platform experience.
