Short-Form Content Creator (TikTok & Instagram)

We're looking for two young, creative content creators to join the Idea8 team.
If you spend hours on TikTok or Instagram, instantly know why a video goes viral, constantly spot trends before everyone else, and love creating engaging short-form content, this role is for you.

Your mission is simple:

  • Create lots of high-quality short videos that people actually want to watch.
  • This role is perfect for school leavers, university students, or early-career creators who are passionate about social media and want to build something exciting.

What You'll Do

  • Create short-form videos for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts.
  • Research trends, viral hooks, and content ideas every day.
  • Write scripts, film, edit, and publish engaging videos.
  • Test different content formats and continuously improve performance.
  • Create content consistently—we value experimentation and volume.
  • Work closely with the team to turn ideas into viral content.

What We're Looking For

  • Strong understanding of TikTok, Instagram Reels, and viral content.
  • Excellent storytelling and creative thinking.
  • Confident speaking and writing in fluent English.
  • Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.
  • Energetic, curious, and always looking for the next trend.
  • Comfortable appearing on camera.
  • Basic video editing skills (CapCut, Premiere Pro, Final Cut, or similar).
  • Someone who genuinely enjoys social media—not just uses it.

Bonus Points

  • You've grown a TikTok or Instagram account.
  • You've had videos perform exceptionally well.
  • You understand hooks, retention, watch time, and engagement.
  • Experience with AI tools for content creation.
  • Graphic design or motion graphics skills.
