Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of WordPress development experience
  • Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP
  • Experience working with AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, GitHub Copilot, or similar development assistants
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative remote team
  • Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to writing clean, maintainable code
  • Good written and verbal communication skills in English

Required Skills & Preferred Knowledge

  • Elementor and other page builders
  • Experience working with Adobe XD, Figma, and Photoshop to design for Elementor
  • WooCommerce customization
  • Custom Post Types (CPT), ACF, and custom fields
  • REST API integrations and third-party API development
  • Performance optimization and Core Web Vitals improvements
  • Security best practices and WordPress hardening

Technical Skills

  • HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery
  • PHP and MySQL
  • WordPress Hooks, Filters, Actions, and Template Hierarchy
  • Responsive and mobile-first development
  • Debugging and troubleshooting complex WordPress issues
  • AI Development Skills
  • Ability to effectively use AI coding assistants to improve productivity
  • Experience creating effective prompts for development tasks
  • Ability to review, validate, and optimize AI-generated code
  • Understanding of AI-assisted debugging and documentation
  • Willingness to adopt new AI tools and workflows

Location : Remote (Work From Home) Colombo based candidates are preferred.

Working Hours
Monday – Saturday 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM

Salary

Starting from LKR 40,000 – 120,000

Salary is fully based on performance, technical ability, AI proficiency, and overall experience.

Candidates with advanced development skills and a strong portfolio may qualify for a higher salary package.
