Local Market Sales Coordinator

Job Description

Basilur Tea is one of Sri Lanka’s most celebrated luxury tea brands, exporting premium Ceylon tea to over 65 markets worldwide. As we continue to scale our operations, we are looking for a dynamic and organized Local Market Sales Coordinator to support and coordinate sales activities within the local market. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining customer relationships, coordinating orders and deliveries, following up on payments, and supporting the sales team in achieving company targets.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure timely communications with customers regarding receiving orders and deliveries and passing them to Operations department.
• Maintain strong relationships with existing customers and provide solutions to their daily issues, if any.
• Handle customer inquiries, orders, and complaints in a professional manner.
• Follow up on outstanding payments and account settlements.
• Coordinate with internal departments such as warehouse, logistics, and finance to ensure smooth order processing and timely deliveries.
• Prepare quotations, invoices, sales reports, and other related documentation.
• Support marketing campaigns and promotional activities in the local market.
• Assist the sales team in achieving monthly sales targets and overall business growth.
• Maintain accurate sales records and customer databases.
• Make sure adequate stocks are available for local market orders and issue fresh order requests to Operations/production.
