Mobile App Developer Intern (Flutter)

Job Description

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Assist in the design, development, and testing of cross-platform mobile applications using Flutter and Dart.
  • Collaborate with senior developers, UI/UX designers, and product managers to translate wireframes and requirements into functional mobile features.
  • Build and maintain reusable, clean, and well-documented Flutter widgets and components.
  • Support integration of RESTful APIs and third-party SDKs into mobile applications.
  • Participate in debugging, troubleshooting, and resolving UI and performance issues across Android and iOS platforms.
  • Write and maintain unit and widget tests to ensure application stability and quality.
  • Contribute to code reviews and incorporate feedback to improve code quality and best practices.
  • Stay up to date with the latest Flutter/Dart updates, mobile development trends, and emerging tools.
  • Participate in agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
  • Support deployment processes for app releases on Google Play Store and Apple App Store.

Our Requirements

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong English communication and collaboration skills (Mandatory).
  • Ability to work 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Eastern Time Zone (ET).
  • Foundational knowledge of Flutter and Dart; personal projects, academic work, or coursework experience is welcome.
  • Basic understanding of mobile app development principles for Android and/or iOS.
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs and consuming web services in mobile applications.
  • Understanding of version control systems, particularly Git.
  • Familiarity with state management approaches (e.g., Provider, Riverpod, or BLoC) is a plus.
  • Basic knowledge of mobile UI/UX principles and responsive design.
  • Eagerness to learn, take initiative, and contribute in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Team-oriented mindset with a proactive and growth-focused attitude.
