1. How long will my advertisements remain on ITPro.lk?
Job ads on ITPro.lk remain visible to the public for 3 months or until the date you choose to close them before that. After this period, they will no longer appear in job listings or searches.
If you are continuously hiring for the same job, we offer an option to re-post it. We recommend removing your job ads once the position has been filled.
The system retains your job listing, along with any applications received for up to 1 year from the posted date. This allows you to review past ads and applications if needed. After one year, the job and associated data are permanently deleted.
Please note that job ads older than one month will display a notice on the application form, indicating that they may be outdated.
2. What is the pricing for advertising?
Advertising on ITPro.lk is completely free, with the same quality and reach you’d expect from a paid platform. We operate on a freemium model, allowing you to use our basic features at no cost. In the future, we plan to introduce premium features.
3. Is there a limit to how many job ads I can post?
There is no limit to the number of job ads you can publish on ITPro.lk. You’re free to post as many roles as your company needs.
However, to keep the platform fair, high-quality, and useful for everyone, we actively prevent excessive posting, spam, and duplicate job ads. This ensures all employers get equal visibility and job seekers see only genuine, relevant opportunities.
4. How can I edit my company details?
If you need to update your company information, simply edit the details within your job advertisement.
5. Can multiple users access my account?
Your job management page is accessible via a unique URL token sent to your email. If you share this URL with others, they will also be able to access your job management page.
If you need to revoke access, please contact us to update your authentication code.
6. Can I post non-IT jobs?
ITPro.lk’s primary audience is IT and technology professionals, including those in creative fields. However, we do have general categories such as "IT and General" and "Management and Business" that allow you to post more generic job opportunities. Please note that the audience for non-IT job roles may be more limited as they may not directly align with our IT-focused categories.
7. What is your moderation policy?
ITPro.lk uses a combination of automated checks and manual review to maintain the quality and professionalism of job advertisements published on the platform.
During this process, we may update certain elements of a job post—such as the title, description formatting, category, job type, or location—if they appear to be incorrect or improperly selected.
If a job post contains issues that require clarification or correction, we may temporarily remove it and give the recruiter an opportunity to update and republish the advertisement.
When adjustments are made to titles or descriptions, they are limited to correcting serious formatting or readability issues. The original meaning and intent of the content are always preserved, ensuring the job posting remains authentic and reflects the recruiter’s original message.

8. How can I delete my profile?
ITPro.lk does not have user profiles or accounts. If you want to remove your presence from the platform, simply delete all your job ads.
9. How do I get started?
Getting started with ITPro.lk is simple. There are no accounts or signups required.
Just visit our job posting page and submit your job details. Once published, you’ll receive a secure magic link via email that lets you manage your job ad, view applications, or update your listing anytime.
