C# / .NET Developer - Application Development & Support

About the Role

We are looking for a C# / .NET Developer with 2–5 years of commercial experience to join our hybrid development and application support team.
The role involves developing and maintaining enterprise applications using C#, .NET, WPF, Angular and React, while also supporting existing systems. You will investigate application issues, resolve technical problems and communicate with users and international stakeholders.
The role includes a shared support rota, covering some evening shifts and occasional public holidays/Poya Days.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain and enhance applications using C# and .NET.
  • Support and improve existing WPF/XAML desktop applications.
  • Work with web applications using Angular and/or React.
  • Investigate and resolve bugs, production incidents and application issues.
  • Troubleshoot problems involving APIs, databases, integrations and infrastructure.
  • Participate in the development and application support rota.
  • Communicate with clients and stakeholders regarding technical issues.
  • Review and improve existing code for performance and reliability.
  • Write automated tests and maintain technical documentation.
  • Collaborate with developers, QA and project teams across different countries.
  • Participate in code reviews, knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.

Qualifications & Skills

  • 2–5 years of commercial software development experience.
  • Strong knowledge of C# and .NET.
  • Experience with WPF and XAML or desktop application development.
  • Understanding of MVVM architecture.
  • Experience with REST APIs and backend services.
  • Working knowledge of Angular, React or JavaScript/TypeScript.
  • Familiarity with SQL Server and Entity Framework.
  • Good debugging and troubleshooting skills.
  • Understanding of unit testing, source control and software development practices.
  • Ability to work with existing systems and unfamiliar codebases.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Communication & Client Skills

  • Good spoken and written English communication skills.
  • Confidence in communicating with users and international clients.
  • Ability to understand, investigate and explain technical issues.
  • Ability to provide clear and professional progress updates.
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
