Intern DevOps Engineer

Are you an undergraduate or recent graduate interested in cloud technologies, infrastructure, automation, and modern DevOps practices?

LayerNext.ai is looking for an Intern DevOps Engineer to join our team. LayerNext.ai is an AI-powered platform that uses intelligent agents to automate and simplify financial operations. You will work alongside experienced engineers and gain experience with cloud infrastructure, deployment, automation, monitoring and enterprise systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Deploy, and maintain infrastructure, services, and applications in the cloud and on-premise environments
  • Migrate enterprise customer data from on-premises systems, cloud sources, and spreadsheets to cloud platforms and warehouses.
  • Automate and optimize processes using tools like Git, Docker, and Kubernetes
  • Monitor systems for health, performance, and security using automated scripts and tools.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve incidents, problems, vulnerabilities, and apply hotfixes as necessary.
  • Collaborate with development and testing teams to ensure smooth delivery and deployment of applications

Requirements:

  • A recent engineering graduate in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms and data warehouses such as AWS, GCP and Google Big Query.
  • Strong scripting skills in Python and Bash.
  • Experience with Microsoft cloud and collaboration technologies, particularly Microsoft 365, SharePoint, and Azure, would be an advantage.
  • Familiarity with automation using Git or other frameworks.
  • Knowledge of networking, security, and monitoring concepts and tools
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment with effective communication.
  • Willingness to learn new technologies and take ownership of projects
