QA Intern

Job Description

Axcertro is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented QA Intern to join our team at our Colombo office.

This internship is ideal for someone who wants to begin a career in software quality assurance and gain practical experience testing real web and mobile applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Test web and mobile applications based on requirements and user flows
• Create and execute test cases and testing checklists
• Identify, document and track software defects
• Retest resolved issues and perform regression testing
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
• Collaborate with developers, QA engineers and project managers
• Help ensure that software releases meet the expected quality standards

Requirements

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a qualification in IT, Software
• Engineering, Computer Science or a related field
• Basic understanding of software testing, SDLC, and STLC
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Ability to clearly document and communicate issues
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Willingness to learn and accept feedback
• Ability to work onsite at our Colombo office

Previous professional experience is not required. Academic projects, personal testing experience or familiarity with bug-tracking tools will be an advantage.
