AI/ML Engineer

Job Description

We are looking for a highly analytical and driven AI/ML Engineer to join our team. This role bridges machine learning, computer vision, and data science. You will work closely with our senior engineering team to help develop, train, and deploy the intelligent systems that enable our robots to perceive their surroundings, make real-time decisions, and extract valuable insights from sensor data.

Responsibilities

• Design, train, and test ML models for computer vision tasks (object detection, anomaly recognition, semantic segmentation)
• Develop and optimize algorithms for real-time data streams from depth cameras and LIDAR
• Build data pipelines, annotate and clean datasets, and perform analysis to continuously improve model accuracy and reliability
• Deploy and optimize ML models on edge computing devices in collaboration with software and hardware teams
• Evaluate model performance in simulated and physical outdoor/industrial environments; troubleshoot edge cases and refine algorithms
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code; stay current with Al and computer vision research

Requirements

• Bachelor's in Computer Science, Al, Data Science, Software Engineering, or related field
• 2+ years in AI/ML development (strong internships, open-source contributions, or robotics/Al projects highly valued)
• Proficient in Python; C++ is a strong plus
• Hands-on experience with deep learning frameworks and computer vision libraries
• Solid grasp of data science tools and libraries for data manipulation and analysis
• Knowledge of edge Al deployment and hardware acceleration is advantageous
• Strong problem-solver with a collaborative mindset and a passion for cutting-edge robotics technology
