Job Description
We are looking for a motivated IT Support Executive to assist customers using our Software solutions and POS Systems. The role involves answering customer calls, guiding users on how to operate the system, and assisting with troubleshooting and support tasks. Training will be provided in-house after recruitment confirmation.
The ideal candidate should have strong computer knowledge, good communication skills, and a passion for helping customers solve problems.
Key Responsibilities / Job Role Functions
Customer Support
- Answer customer calls and respond to inquiries regarding the POS system
- Guide customers step-by-step on performing tasks in the software
- Provide remote assistance to resolve software-related issues
Technical Assistance
- Troubleshoot common system issues and provide solutions
- Assist with POS printer setups and basic hardware connectivity
- Escalate complex issues to the technical team when required
Customer Guidance
- Help new customers understand system features
- Assist clients during initial system usage
- Provide clear and simple explanations to users with different levels of technical knowledge
Reporting & Documentation
- Record support issues and solutions
- Maintain logs of customer requests
- Report recurring issues to the internal team
Requirements
Education / Background
- Diploma or Degree in IT / Software / Computer Science
- strong background knowledge in computers and software systems
Technical Knowledge
- Good understanding of computer systems and Windows OS
- Basic troubleshooting skills
- Familiarity with printers, networking, and POS systems is an advantage
Soft Skills
- Good communication skills
- Ability to explain technical tasks clearly to customers
- Strong problem-solving ability
- Friendly and patient when assisting clients
Preferred Skills
- Experience in customer support / help desk
- Basic database knowledge
- Experience with remote support tools
