Role Overview
We are looking for a Field Application Engineer/ Pre-Sales Engineer Intern/ Trainee to support our technical, pre-sales, and customer engagement teams. This role provides hands-on experience in technical support, solution demos, and customer interactions to help customers integrate Paraqum products. The intern/ trainee will work with engineering, sales, and marketing teams while gaining experience in networking technologies, solution design, and technical consulting.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with product demonstrations, presentations, and proof-of-concepts.
- Support product installation and configuration.
- Help troubleshoot technical issues and provide solutions to customers.
- Provide technical pre-sales support including client meetings and solution discussions.
- Explain product features and specifications to potential customers.
- Assist in preparing technical proposals, solution briefs, and demo materials.
- Collaborate with the Marketing team on product promotions, webinars, and technical content. Maintain technical documentation such as datasheets, guides, and knowledge base. Gather customer feedback to help improve products and solutions.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Networking, or a related field.
- 0-1 year of experience in networking, electronics, technical support, or pre-sales is an added advantage.
- Basic understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, routing, switching).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP is an advantage.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and presentation skills with a customer-focused mindset.
- Willingness to learn new technologies and work in a dynamic technical environment.
- Ability to adapt to a flexible, roster-based work schedule.
