Associate Engineer - Network Support

Job Summary:

We are looking for an Associate Engineer Network Support to support day-to-day operations of our enterprise network infrastructure. This role is ideal for early-career professionals seeking hands-on exposure to enterprise networking, troubleshooting, and automation in a fast-faced operational environment.

Job Role:

  • Provide L1/L2 support for LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, VoIP, and data center networks
  • Monitor network performance and availability using enterprise monitoring tools
  • Perform initial troubleshooting and escalate complex issues to senior engineers
  • Support basic configuration and maintenance of routing and switching technologies (VLANs, STP, OSPF, BGP fundamentals)
  • Assist in managing network security components such as firewalls, VPNs
  • Follow incident, problem, and change management processes
  • Maintain accurate network documentation and operational records

Job Specifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in IT/Higher Diploma or NVQ Level 5
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in network support, NOC, or IT infrastructure roles
  • CCNA certified
  • Basic understanding of:
    • TCP/IP, routing and switching concepts
    • Cisco routers and switches
    • Network troubleshooting fundamentals
  • Exposure to network automation or scripting (Python, Ansible, REST APIs)
  • Familiarity with Al-driven monitoring, AlOps, or automated alerting tools
  • Interest in using automation to improve operational efficiency and reduce manual effort
  • Willingness to learn and grow in enterprise networking environments
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in fast faced environment and availability for weekend on-call support
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Detail-oriented with a strong sense of responsibility
