We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Junior Odoo Software Developer to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for fresh graduates or individuals looking to start a career in Odoo development. The ideal candidate will assist in developing, implementing, and maintaining Odoo applications while gaining valuable experience in the open-source ERP domain.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in customizing, developing, and maintaining Odoo modules and applications.
• Support Odoo version upgrades and migrations, including code adjustments, data validation, and post-upgrade issue fixing
• Work closely with senior developers to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Participate in debugging, troubleshooting, and resolving issues in the Odoo environment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective implementation of Odoo applications.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices.
• Perform system integrations and data migrations in coordination with the development team.
• Help in maintaining and improving existing Odoo-based systems.
• Assist in testing new features and functionalities before deployment.
• Assist in user training, system demonstrations, and end-user support.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation for customizations and configurations.

Required Skills

• Basic knowledge of Python and object-oriented programming concepts.
• Familiarity with relational databases like PostgreSQL (used by Odoo) would be an advantage.
• Understanding of web technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and XML.
• Some exposure to ERP systems and Odoo would be an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of Git or version control systems
• Strong problem-solving skills and a keen interest in learning new technologies.
• Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
• A self-starter with a passion for software development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• 1 year of experience in Odoo or Python-based development
• Any internship or project experience related to Odoo or ERP systems is a plus.
