The Role

You’ll plan, build, and ship production apps end-to-end. You’ll own features across the stack and help lead the team to deliver on time and to spec.

Core Tech (you should be exceptional in)

• Frontend: Next.js 14, React 18, TypeScript
• Backend: Next.js API Routes
• Styling/UI: Tailwind CSS, shadcn/ui
• Database: PostgreSQL with Prisma ORM
• Auth: NextAuth.js (JWT-based)
• Package Manager: Bun.js
• Containerization: Docker & Docker Compose

What You’ll Do

• Plan architecture and deliver features from idea to production
• Build fast, accessible UIs and reliable API routes
• Design data models and queries with Prisma + PostgreSQL
• Implement secure auth/authorization with NextAuth (JWT)
• Ship with Docker, automate with scripts, and keep environments reproducible
• Write clean, typed code with tests; review PRs and mentor teammates
• Lead by example: break down work, estimate, and improve team velocity

What We’re Looking For

• Proven track record shipping Next.js/React products in production
• Strong TypeScript skills and attention to performance, DX, and security
• Solid SQL fundamentals and Prisma experience (migrations, schema design)
• Hands-on Docker experience (local dev and deploy workflows)
• Proven experience working inside Scrum (Sprint Planning, Daily, Review, Retro) and contributing to backlog refinement, estimation, and incremental delivery.
• Comfortable acting as a feature lead: breaking down epics, defining acceptance criteria, coordinating with PO/Design.

Nice to Have

• CI/CD experience (e.g., GitHub Actions)
• Testing with Vitest/Cypress or similar
• Monitoring/observability basics (logs, metrics)
