Key Responsibilities

Review business requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and constructive feedback.
Design and maintain detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test scenarios and test cases.
Execute a variety of testing types including functional, regression, smoke, and exploratory testing to ensure software quality.
Accurately identify, document, and track defects; communicate issues effectively to relevant parties for timely resolution.
Support CI/CD pipelines by executing and validating automated test cases.
Collaborate with internal teams to define system requirements and ensure test coverage.
Analyze test results to identify trends, root causes, and areas for improvement, and recommend appropriate solutions.
Investigate the root causes of software anomalies and assist users in implementing corrective actions.
Stay up to date with emerging testing tools, technologies, and industry best practices to continuously enhance QA processes.

Qualifications

Minimum of 1 year of hands-on experience in software quality assurance & testing role.
Solid understanding of QA methodologies, testing techniques, and software development lifecycle (SDLC).
Practical experience with automated testing frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, or equivalent tools.
Proficiency with version control systems, particularly Git.
Strong working knowledge of SQL and experience in validating data across systems.
Experience in banking & financial services domains is a significant advantage.
Exposure to Behavior-Driven Development (BDD), Test-Driven Development (TDD), & Domain-Driven Design (DDD) is preferred.
Proficiency in using issue tracking and project management tools such as JIRA.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues efficiently.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
ISTQB Foundation Level certification is an added advantage.
