Network Administrator Intern

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in maintaining and monitoring the organization's internal network infrastructure, including switches, routers, and firewalls.
• Support the implementation and management of CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows across devélopment and production environments.
• Automate infrastructure-related tasks using scripting tools such as Bash, Python, or PowerShell.
• Learn and apply containerization tools, including Docker and Kubernetes, to help build and deploy scalable applications.
• Monitor system and application performance using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or other APM/logging systems.
• Assist in documenting system configurations, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and network topology.
• Collaborate with software developers and system engineers to ensure stable, secure, and optimized environments for application. deployment

Requirements:

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree/diploma in Computer Science, Networking, or a related IT field
• Basic knowledge of networking concepts (IP, DNS, routing, firewalls, VLANs)
• Exposure to Cisco networking concepts or tools (e.g., Packet Tracer, CCNA-level topics)
• Familiarity with security tools such as Sophos Firewall or similar platforms is a plus
• Comfortable with Linux/Unix environments and command-line tools
• Understanding of version control systems like Git
• Interest in learning cloud platforms [AWS, GCP, or Azure) and DevOps tools
• Basic scripting skills (Bash, Python, or PowerShell)
• Strong willingness to learn, adapt, and work in a fast-paced environment
