Job Description

As the Software Quality Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for all aspects of quality engineering throughout the software development cycle. This multifaceted role involves continuous development of testing methods and processes, reflecting industry best practices, and implementation of monitoring and controlling processes to deliver high-quality software that drives customer satisfaction. You will be expected to provide technical guidance to the QE teams across the organization in terms of analysis, design, deployment of all types of quality artifacts, execution, and monitoring. You will also lead and develop the QE teams and work with the senior management to ensure that the organization continues to release software of the highest quality.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

  • Lead, mentor, and develop QE teams
  • Define QE strategies and processes across the organization, and execute them in all projects
  • Monitor all QE activities and identify areas of improvement
  • Ensure the highest standards of quality for all software releases through rigorous testing and validation
  • Build and maintain quality standards and processes
  • Provide technical expertise in testing methodologies, processes, tools, and automation techniques
  • Manage continuous development of QE processes

Requirements

  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in software quality assurance/engineering
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in managing a QE team, preferably in an agile environment
  • A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in implementing and shaping QE processes and strategies
  • Strong analytical skills and hands-on experience with web and mobile application testing and test automation
  • Ability to Identify, analyze, and resolve complex quality-related issues
  • Strong communication, leadership, and negotiation skills
  • Ability to motivate teams, recognize good talent, and bring out the best in individuals
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to understand, adapt, initiate, implement, and operate in a changing and challenging environment
  • Expertise in industry-recognized best practices
