EchonLabs (Pvt) Ltd is currently seeking a dedicated and motivated individual to join our team as a Trainee Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer. This position offers an exciting opportunity for someone looking to start their career in software testing and quality assurance. As a Trainee QA Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products.
Responsibilities:
- Learn and understand the software development life cycle (SDLC) and quality assurance processes.
- Assist in creating, executing, and maintaining test cases and test plans.
- Perform manual and automated testing on software applications to identify defects and ensure functionality meets requirements.
- Document and report bugs, errors, and other issues found during testing.
- Collaborate with developers and other team members to troubleshoot and resolve software defects.
- Participate in peer reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Strong interest in software testing and quality assurance.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good understanding of software development concepts and methodologies.
- Basic knowledge of programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, Python, or C#.
- Familiarity with testing tools and frameworks is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment, with excellent communication skills.
