QA Intern

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in testing software applications, ERP systems, and web-based solutions.
  • Execute manual test cases to identify bugs, errors, and software defects.
  • Identify, document, and report bugs with clear descriptions and supporting evidence.
  • Perform functional, regression, and user interface (UI) testing.
  • Work closely with developers and QA team members to resolve identified issues.
  • Verify bug fixes and conduct retesting.
  • Prepare and maintain test cases, test scenarios, and testing documentation.
  • Ensure software applications meet quality standards and business requirements.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a Diploma, Higher Diploma, or Degree in IT, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Basic understanding of software development and software testing concepts.
  • Knowledge of SDLC and STLC would be an added advantage.
  • Basic understanding of web applications and databases (SQL) is an advantage.
  • Familiarity with bug-tracking tools or testing tools will be an added advantage.
  • Good analytical, problem-solving, and observation skills.
  • Good communication skills and a positive learning attitude.
  • Ability to work independently as well as within a team.
