Key Responsibilities

1. Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
2. Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and healthcare system integrations.
3. Design, optimize, and manage SQL databases, queries, and data access layers.
4. Work with NoSQL databases, including data modelling and performance optimization.
5. Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, performance bottlenecks, and system failures.
6. Write clean, maintainable, testable, and production-ready code.
7. Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and system design.
8. Improve the performance, reliability, and scalability of existing systems.
9. Collaborate with frontend, QA, DevOps, and product teams to deliver solutions.
10. Take ownership of assigned tasks from development through deployment and production support.
11. Contribute to building secure and reliable healthcare software solutions.

Qualifications & Requirements

1. Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
2. 2+ years of hands-on backend software development experience.
3. Strong proficiency in Java and Spring Boot.
4. Good understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases.
5. Strong problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills.
6. Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
7. Experience with Docker, Linux, cloud platforms, or CI/CD will be an advantage.
8. Experience in healthcare technology will be an added advantage.
