About the Role

We are seeking a driven Acumatica or Cloud ERP Business Consultant to join a fast-growing Australian cloud advisory practice. This role is ideal for an ERP professional looking for a flexible, high-growth international engagement involving end-to-end implementation, functional workflow design, module setup, and advisory for mid-market businesses across Australia and New Zealand (ANZ).

Key Responsibilities

  • Implementation & Configuration: Lead functional scoping, gap analysis, and system setup across core modules (Financials, Distribution, CRM, or Project Accounting).
  • Client Engagement: Translate business requirements into functional workflows, conduct client workshops, key user training, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  • Technical & Functional Execution: Assist with data migration, custom report design, workflow testing, and post-go-live optimization support.
  • Practice Collaboration: Partner directly with Australian project leads to ensure smooth delivery across active client projects.

Candidate Requirements

  • ERP Experience / Certification: Official Acumatica Business Consultant certification OR 2+ years of hands-on functional implementation experience with Cloud ERP systems (Acumatica, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics 365, or Sage Intacct).
  • Domain Knowledge: Solid foundation in core accounting workflows (GL, A/R, A/P), inventory/distribution, or operational processes.
  • Communication: Superior verbal and written English skills for direct Australian client and stakeholder collaboration.
  • Consulting Aptitude: Strong problem-solving skills with a proven track record of managing project milestones and client relationships independently.

Compensation & Engagement Model

  • Predictable Base + Project Upside: Fixed monthly retainer securing ongoing commitment, complemented by variable hourly/project-based pay for live billable work.
  • Work-Life Balance: Operates primarily during standard Sri Lankan business hours with flexible availability for Australian client meetings.
  • 100% Remote: Work from anywhere in Sri Lanka.
