UI/UX Intern

Job Description

About the Role

This is a full-time, remote, unpaid internship offering opportunities to contribute to real projects, receive professional feedback, and build a practical design portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

• Translate project requirements into user flows, wireframes, and interactive prototypes.
• Design responsive interfaces for websites, dashboards, and digital products.
• Create reusable components and maintain consistent layouts, typography, and colours.
• Review existing interfaces and suggest improvements to usability and accessibility.
• Prepare design specifications and assets for developer handover.
• Collaborate with developers to support accurate design implementation.
• Present design decisions and refine your work based on feedback.

Key Requirements & Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree or diploma in UI/UX Design, Computer Science, IT, Multimedia, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of user-centred design, visual hierarchy, and accessibility.
• Familiarity with Figma or a similar interface design tool.
• Ability to create wireframes, prototypes, and responsive layouts.
• A portfolio featuring coursework, personal projects, or previous design work.
• Attention to detail and an interest in understanding user behaviour.
• Good communication skills and willingness to learn through feedback.
• No previous professional experience required; academic and personal projects are welcome.
