💻 About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Senior Developer to join our growing technology team at Digit Web Lanka (Pvt) Ltd.

As a Senior Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, debugging, optimizing, and maintaining scalable software applications. You will collaborate with our development team to build reliable digital solutions, participate in technical discussions, conduct code reviews, and mentor junior developers.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys solving complex technical problems and wants to contribute to AI-driven, e-commerce, automation, and digital technology solutions.

🔧 Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, debug, and maintain scalable software applications
  • Develop clean, efficient, secure, and maintainable code
  • Develop and integrate APIs and RESTful services
  • Work with frontend and backend systems
  • Participate in system architecture and technical design decisions
  • Conduct code reviews and maintain development standards
  • Identify and resolve performance and technical issues
  • Lead and mentor junior developers
  • Collaborate with teams to deliver projects on time
  • Participate in technical discussions and solution planning
  • Stay updated with emerging technologies and development best practices
  • Contribute to innovative e-commerce, AI, automation, and digital solutions

🎯 Qualifications & Requirements

  • 3+ years of professional software development experience
  • Proficiency in Java, Python, JavaScript, or similar programming languages
  • Experience with frameworks/libraries such as React, Angular, Node.js, or equivalent
  • Strong knowledge of APIs, RESTful services, and backend systems
  • Good understanding of system architecture and software design patterns
  • Knowledge of cloud-based technologies and solutions
  • Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills
  • Ability to lead and mentor development team members
  • Familiarity with Agile methodology
  • Proficiency with Git and version control systems
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or a related field
  • Experience with e-commerce platforms and digital solutions is an added advantage
