IT Intern

Basilur Tea is seeking a motivated and tech-savvy IT Intern to join our IT team. This internship provides an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in IT operations, technical support, system administration, and IT-related projects while working alongside experienced professionals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
  • Provide technical support to employees both in-person and remotely.
  • Support network and system administration activities.
  • Assist with the setup, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of IT equipment.
  • Document IT procedures and maintain/update system logs.
  • Assist with IT projects, research, and implementation activities.
  • Support the IT team in maintaining computer systems, software, and other technology-related equipment.
  • Follow company data security, privacy, and IT policies.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a degree or diploma in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Basic understanding of computer systems, mobile devices, and other technology products.
  • Familiarity with Windows, macOS, and Linux operating systems.
  • Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Willingness to learn and develop technical skills.

Preferred Skills

These are an added advantage but not mandatory:

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 and Google Workspace.
  • Basic knowledge of networking fundamentals.
  • Exposure to programming or scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
