Senior AI / Software Engineer

We are looking for an experienced AI & Software Engineer to join our growing technology team. The ideal candidate should have strong software engineering skills with experience in artificial intelligence, machine learning, or AI-powered application development.

Candidates with 4+ years of professional experience in either Software Engineering or Artificial Intelligence Engineering are encouraged to apply. We are looking for someone who can design, develop, and deploy scalable software solutions while integrating modern AI technologies into real-world applications.

This is a remote opportunity requiring availability during US working hours (night time in Sri Lanka) to collaborate effectively with our international team.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain high-quality software applications.
  • Build and integrate AI-powered features, automation systems, and intelligent solutions.
  • Work with backend, frontend, APIs, databases, and cloud technologies.
  • Develop and optimize machine learning models and AI workflows when required.
  • Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code following industry best practices.
  • Debug, troubleshoot, and improve existing systems and applications.
  • Collaborate with developers, product teams, and international clients.
  • Research and implement new AI technologies and software development approaches.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical decision-making.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of professional experience in Software Engineering or AI Engineering.
  • Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, or similar.
  • Experience with software development frameworks and modern development practices.
  • Knowledge of AI, Machine Learning, LLMs, Generative AI, or AI integrations is an advantage.
  • Experience working with databases, APIs, and cloud platforms.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
  • Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with global teams.
  • Availability to work during US time zones (night shift Sri Lanka time).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience building AI-based applications or automation solutions.
  • Experience with cloud services such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Experience with DevOps, CI/CD, and scalable system architecture.
  • Experience working with international clients or remote teams.
