Role Description

The Project Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Colombo, responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering technology and digital transformation projects. This role involves managing project timelines, budgets, and resources, while aligning deliverables with client requirements and organizational standards. The Project Manager will oversee expediting activities, logistics coordination, and inspection processes to ensure smooth execution across the project lifecycle. Daily tasks include leading cross-functional teams, conducting status meetings, identifying and mitigating risks, and maintaining clear communication with stakeholders. The role also requires preparing project documentation, reporting progress to leadership, and driving continuous improvement in project management practices.

Qualifications

  • Strong project management skills, including Project Management experience and familiarity with Expediting and Expeditor responsibilities.
  • Knowledge of Logistics Management and related coordination activities within technology or enterprise solution projects.
  • Experience with Inspection processes, quality checks, and compliance in project delivery.
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, information technology, business, or a related field; a project management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is an advantage.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities, with experience working in cross-functional and client-facing environments.
  • Proficiency in using project management tools and productivity software; experience in technology or digital transformation projects is a plus.
  • Ability to work on-site in Colombo and collaborate effectively within diverse teams.
