Junior Automation QA Engineer

Role Summary

Support the automation framework by building and maintaining automated API and UI tests while improving regression coverage and release quality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain UI and API automation scripts.
  • Convert stable manual test cases into automation.
  • Execute automated regression suites and analyze failures.
  • Support CI/CD automation execution.
  • Perform API validation using Postman/Newman.
  • Understand and validate WebSocket communication and message flows.
  • Maintain automation documentation and test data.

Team Collaboration

  • Work closely with the Senior QA Engineer on automation strategy.
  • Collaborate with Frontend, Backend, and DevOps teams.
  • Participate in sprint ceremonies and release testing.

Required Qualifications

  • 0–2 years of QA automation or programming experience.
  • Basic JavaScript/TypeScript or Python.
  • Understanding of REST APIs, WebSocket basics, and Git.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium.
  • Knowledge of Postman/Newman.
  • Basic CI/CD knowledge.
  • Experience in iGaming or FinTech is a plus.
