Data & AI Solution Engineer

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end lifecycle of data and AI projects.
  • Design, build, and maintain AI-enabled and integrated solutions, ensuring prototypes are successfully transitioned into scalable, production-ready systems.
  • Enable AI-powered self-service analytics and support the adoption of AI across the organization.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify AI, BI, and ML automation opportunities, translating business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors/partners to ensure timely delivery of projects aligned with defined milestones and quality standards.
  • Ensure a unified data architecture by maintaining a centralized data repository (Lakehouse) and enforcing a single source of truth across all analytics platforms.
  • Design user-facing interfaces and dashboards for AI and analytics solutions to enhance usability and business adoption.
  • Develop and maintain data pipelines and machine learning workflows, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance across data platforms.
  • Ensure compliance with enterprise data governance policies, including data privacy, access control, cataloging, and audit requirements.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies in AI, machine learning, data engineering, and business intelligence, and recommend improvements to the organization’s data and AI ecosystem.
  • Conduct training sessions, demonstrations, and awareness programs to promote data literacy and AI adoption across
    business teams.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in data science, Artificial Intelligence or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in AI/ML implementation, data engineering, or related roles.
  • AI or Data Engineering certifications (Azure AI Engineer, Azure Data Engineer, or equivalent).
  • Experience with cloud platforms and data services.
  • Hands-on experience with Databricks / Microsoft Fabric or similar services.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL and Python programming languages.
  • Solid understanding of Machine Learning concepts and implementation, Strong knowledge of data governance and security frameworks, Strong teamwork, communication, project management and negotiation skills, Effective problem-solving, analytical thinking, decision-making abilities and time management skills.
  • Ability to work under limited supervision and extended working hours when required.
