About Our Client & The Role

Wisdom RecruitmentS is pleased to partner with an innovative, fast-growing IT Firm based in Australia to source top-tier emerging talent in Sri Lanka.

We are looking for an energetic, ambitious, and articulate Trainee – Marketing & Business Development. This is a full-time, 100% remote position designed for freshers, undergraduates, or early-career individuals who want to fast-track their professional growth within the global tech-sales and digital marketing industry.

The training period will be for a minimum of 6 months, with a strong possibility of extension or permanent absorption based on your performance, drive, and capability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the international business development team in researching and profiling potential corporate clients across the Australian market.
  • Assist in lead generation campaigns through targeted digital marketing pipelines, LinkedIn networking, and market research.
  • Help create, refine, and organize marketing collateral, sales presentations, and business proposals.
  • Maintain accuracy within CRM platforms and track daily client outreach data.
  • Participate in strategy meetings and collaborate closely with cross-border management teams.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Education: Possession of a Certificate, Diploma, or Advanced Diploma in Marketing, Business Management, Commerce, or a similar professional qualification (e.g., CIM, SLIM, or ongoing undergraduate studies).
  • Communication: Flawless verbal and written English communication skills are mandatory, as you will be operating within a corporate Australian context.
  • A strong, demonstrable desire to build a long-term professional career in corporate Sales, Marketing, and B2B Business Development.
  • A self-motivated, proactive mindset with the discipline to excel independently in a 100% remote work setup.
  • Basic tech-savviness and a quick learning curve for soft software products and IT landscapes.
