About Us

H2Compute specializes in delivering custom software solutions for regulated industries such as healthcare and pharmaceuticals. We are expanding our team and are looking for a Software/Application Support Engineer to join us.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional customer service and maintain a strong customer support focus, ensuring high-quality service at all times.
  • Act as the liaison between the Support, Development, QA, and DevOps teams.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of customer environments, including product releases and ongoing developments.
  • Effectively troubleshoot software bugs and application issues, collaborating with team members to resolve complex challenges efficiently.
  • Apply quick fixes whenever possible while investigating potential root causes.
  • Identify issues that require long-term solutions and coordinate with the relevant Development team to plan and implement permanent fixes.
  • Be available to provide on-call and after-hour support as required.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a technical support role, preferably supporting international clients.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or an equivalent qualification from a recognized university. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Adaptable and flexible in responding to changing business needs.
  • Strong commitment to quality and delivering an outstanding user experience.
  • Prior experience or knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry will be a distinct advantage.

Technical Skills

  • Experience with the .NET Framework and Visual Studio.
  • Knowledge of front-end technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.
  • Understanding application lifecycle management and application support processes.
  • Experience with SQL Server and database management, including writing complex SQL queries, performing database administration, and optimizing database performance
  • Experience supporting and troubleshooting IIS, Azure, and .NET hosting environments
