Role Description

We are looking for a highly motivated Business Analyst (BA) Intern who bridges the gap between business needs and technological solutions. You will work alongside product managers and senior architects to elicit, analyze, and document requirements that drive our software development. This is a Paid Internship designed to fast-track your career into a Junior Business Analyst role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Requirement Gathering & Elicitation: Conduct workshops, interviews, and brainstorming sessions to capture clear and concise business requirements.
  • Documentation Excellence: Create, structure, and maintain comprehensive Software Requirement Specifications (SRS), Business Requirement Documents (BRD), and Functional Specification Documents (FSD).
  • Maintain Specifications: Ensure all project documentation, user stories, and process flows are continuously updated and accurately reflect changes throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Act as the primary liaison between technical development teams and non-technical clients, translating complex business needs into technical specifications (and vice versa).
  • Agile Support: Participate in agile sprints, backlog grooming, and assist in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure deliveries match client expectations.

What we Are Looking For 

  • 3rd or 4th-year university students or recent graduates in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.

Communication & language

  • Strong Verbal and Written English Communication Skills: Essential for collaborating with cross-functional teams and drafting precise documentation.
  • Japanese Language Skills: Proficiency in Japanese (JLPT N5 or above) is a highly valued asset for interacting with international clients.

Core Competencies & skills

  • Analytical Mindset: Strong problem-solving abilities with a knack for breaking down complex workflows and technical processes.
  • Tools: Basic understanding of wireframing/flowchart tools (like Figma, Miro, or Lucid chart) and Agile tools (like Jira or Trello).

Bonus Points

  • Power BI Knowledge: Familiarity with Power BI (or similar BI tools) to create data visualizations and dashboards is a major plus.
