Automation QA Engineer

Role Summary

We are looking for an Automation QA Engineer with 2-4 years of experience to build and maintain automated tests for React frontend applications and Go backend APIs. The candidate should be able to create practical automation that supports CI/CD and reduces regression risk.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain automated UI tests for React applications
  • Build and maintain automated API tests for Go backend services
  • Automate smoke, regression, permission, validation, and integration test cases
  • Prepare test data and maintain test execution documentation
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines with support from QA Lead/DevOps
  • Analyze failed automation runs and report defects clearly
  • Work with manual QA to convert stable test cases into automation
  • Maintain automation code quality and reduce flaky tests

Required Qualifications

  • 2-4 years QA automation experience
  • Experience with UI automation tools such as Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, or similar
  • Experience with API automation using Postman/Newman, REST Assured, pytest, JavaScript/TypeScript, or similar
  • Basic programming/scripting ability in JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, Java, or C#
  • Understanding of regression testing, smoke testing, and CI/CD execution
  • Ability to analyze test failures and separate script issues from product defects
  • Experience using Git and issue tracking tools

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience automating React applications
  • Experience testing Go backend APIs
  • Experience running tests in AWS-based environments or CI/CD pipelines
  • Experience with Docker-based test execution
  • Experience with performance basics using JMeter or k6
  • Experience in fintech, payment, gaming, SaaS, CRM, admin, or transaction-heavy systems
