About the Role

As a Senior Software Tester / QA Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive testing strategies to ensure our software products meet the highest quality standards. You will collaborate closely with developers, product teams, and stakeholders to identify issues early, improve testing processes, and drive continuous quality improvements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and execute both manual and automated testing strategies
  • Identify, report, track, and verify software defects and inconsistencies
  • Collaborate with software developers to troubleshoot and resolve issues
  • Participate in requirement analysis and software design discussions
  • Ensure high-quality standards across all software releases
  • Continuously improve QA methodologies, tools, and processes
  • Stay updated with emerging testing technologies and industry best practices
  • Mentor and support junior QA engineers and contribute to team growth

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in Software Testing and Quality Assurance
  • Strong experience in Manual Testing and Test Automation
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
  • Hands-on experience with bug tracking and test management tools
  • Strong knowledge of API Testing using tools such as Postman and SoapUI
  • Experience reviewing code and understanding software design patterns
  • Hands-on experience with:
    • Selenium
    • TestNG
    • Rest Assured
    • Appium
  • Experience with Performance & Load Testing using JMeter
  • Strong SQL and database testing knowledge
  • Experience working with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins)
