Enliven Designers (Pvt.) Ltd is a one-stop shop for all web solutions, such as Web Designing. Web Hosting, Web Development, Content Writing, SEO, Social Media Marketing & BPO Operations based in Sri Lanka.

We are currently seeking a talented Wordpress Developer to join our dynamic team. The Trainee WordPress Developer will support the design, development, maintenance, and optimization of websites and web applications while working closely with project managers, designers, and senior developers. The role is intended for candidates with foundational web development experience who are looking to strengthen practical and professional skills.

  • Work Type: Remote
  • Working Schedule: Mon-Friday 2.00PM -10.00PM
  • Contract Period: 1 Year
  • Service Fee: LKR 50,000/-

Job Role:

Website Development

  • Develop and maintain websites based on project requirements.
  • Convert UI/UX designs into responsive web pages.
  • Build and customize websites using CMS platforms (WordPress or similar).
  • Develop frontend components using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks where applicable.

Technical Execution

  • Perform website updates, bug fixing, and troubleshooting.
  • Ensure websites are responsive and compatible across devices and browsers.
  • Support website performance optimization and page speed improvements.
  • Implement basic SEO and accessibility best practices.

Quality Assurance

  • Conduct testing before deployment.
  • Identify and resolve issues during development stages.
  • Maintain coding standards and documentation.

Team Collaboration

  • Work with designers and project managers to meet deadlines.
  • Participate in internal meetings and progress updates.
  • Escalate blockers and technical challenges early.

Learning & Growth

  • Stay updated with current web development practices.
  • Attend internal training and knowledge-sharing sessions.
  • Demonstrate continuous improvement in coding and delivery quality.

Requirements

  • Maximum of 2 years of proven experience as a WordPress Developer
  • HND or higher educational qualification in a relevant field
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work remotely and manage tasks efficiently
  • Must have a personal laptop/PC with stable internet access Available for immediate joining
