Trainee Service Technician

Job Description

Job Description

• Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, and network systems.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues including desktops, laptops, and
  printers.
• Provide technical support and resolve IT-related issues for users.
• Ensure IT system security, backups, antivirus protection, and access control. Support IT operations, projects, upgrades, and system installations.
• Coordinate IT purchases and vendor-related activities.
• Implement IT policies and procedures to maintain security and compliance.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Information Technology, Hardware & Networking, or related field (School leavers are welcome)
• Basic experience in IT hardware and technical support is an added advantage
• Good knowledge of computer hardware, software, networking, and operating systems
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure
• Willingness to travel island-wide for field visits
