Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Engineer - IT Support to provide technical assistance and support for end-users, ensuring smooth IT operations across hardware, software, and network systems. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for delivering top-notch IT support.

Key Responsibilities:

The selected candidate will be responsible for,

  • Provide first-line technical support to users via phone, email, chat, or in-person.
  • Troubleshoot network connectivity issues (LAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, etc.).
  • Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, applications, and security updates.
  • Manage IT assets, including inventory tracking and equipment maintenance.
    Support and troubleshoot Microsoft Office 365, Google Workspace, and other enterprise applications.
  • Perform system backups and ensure data recovery protocols are in place.
  • Collaborate with other IT teams to resolve complex technical issues.
  • Ensure IT security compliance by implementing antivirus, endpoint protection, and access controls.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science recognized by the University Grants Commission
  • Minimum of two (02) years' work experience in a similar capacity
  • Strong attention to detail and outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong technical background with knowledge of IT infrastructure, networking, and software systems.
  • Experience in leading teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyze complex problems and develop effective solutions.
