UI/UX DESIGNER

Remote — Sri Lanka

Design the interface that turns complex AI intelligence into clarity — for fire engineers in the field and C-suite asset managers in the boardroom.

THE ROLE

FireCORE is a next-generation AI powered SaaS platform built by Fire Dynamics International.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Build the complete FireCORE design system in Phase 1 Sprints 1–2, serving all four platform phases
  • Design the mobile app UX for field inspection workflows — fast, intuitive, one-handed use in the field
  • Design the web dashboard: asset management, AI alert surfaces, compliance dashboards, client reporting
  • Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity Figma designs for engineering handoff
  • Design Arabic RTL interface variants for the Phase 3 UAE/GCC market expansion
  • Collaborate with full-stack engineers to ensure pixel-perfect implementation
  • Conduct design reviews at each sprint and maintain a living component library
  • Design AI-specific UI patterns: predictive alert cards, confidence scores, NL query interfaces
  • Ensure WCAG accessibility standards across the platform

WHAT YOU BRING

  • 4+ years of product design experience for SaaS or mobile applications
  • Expert Figma skills — components, auto-layout, variables, and design tokens
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating complex dashboard and mobile interface design
  • Experience building and maintaining comprehensive design systems
  • Deep understanding of responsive web and mobile design principles
  • Ability to translate complex data and AI outputs into clean, understandable UI
  • Excellent communication skills for remote collaboration with engineering teams

NICE TO HAVE

  • Experience designing Arabic RTL interfaces
  • Previous work in PropTech, FM, or industrial SaaS
  • Familiarity with AI/ML dashboard design patterns
  • Motion design or micro-interaction skills
  • Understanding of WCAG 2.1 accessibility standards
